IGP Condemns Assault on Police Officers

The Inspector-General of Police Usman Baba, has condemned assault on policemen and officers in uniform across the nation.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

The statement stressed that attacks on policemen who are uniformed agents is illegal and an affront on the rule of law.

It, therefore, warned that attack on officers in the line of duty would no longer be tolerated under whatever guise.
