Ohaneze Faults Federal Government’s Plan to Ban Motorcycles

The Apex Igbo socio-political organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has faulted the Federal Government’s plan to place a nationwide ban on commercial motorcycles.

National Publicity Secretary of the organization, Alex Ogbonnia noted that terrorism persists because of the inconsistency in Federal Government’s approach.

Ogbonnia charged the government to direct security agencies to go after the terrorists in their camps rather than place a ban on motorcycle transportation.

The National Secretary added that the ban would worsen insecurity.
