Imo State government has commenced the evacuation of road traders in Douglas road in Owerri, the State capital.
In an interview with Boss Radio news, the Chairman of Environmental Transformation Commission, ENTRACO, Franklyn Nkemakolam says a directive had been issued to the traders to vacate the road.
Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties, Chinasa Nwaneri, urges the traders to relocate to other government approved markets.
The Youth Chairman of Owerri Municipal Council, Osuji Ndidi says they are in support of the State government’s action.
National Film and Video Censors Board, NFVCB, has received and censored 553 movies produced by the Nigerian film industry in the second quarter of the year. Executive Director of the Board, Adedayo Thomas, made this known in a statement issued to newsmen.
