NFVCB Receives 553 Movies by Nigerian Film Industry

National Film and Video Censors Board, NFVCB, has received and censored 553 movies produced by the Nigerian film industry in the second quarter of the year.

Executive Director of the Board, Adedayo Thomas, made this known in a statement issued to newsmen.

The statement noted that the figure was provided by the Department of Film Censorship and Classification of the board.

It added that the report captured all films submitted to the board from across the country.

Mane Crowned African Footballer of the Year

Senegal's Sadio Mane was crowned African Footballer of the Year for the second time at the Confederation of African Football awards ceremony. Mane beat compatriot and Chelsea goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy as well as former Liverpool team-mate, Mohammed Salah.
