Court Denies Ekweremadu Bail

Westminster Magistrates Court in the United Kingdom has ruled that David Ukpo, the alleged kidney donor for the daughter of Senator Ike Ekweremadu, is not 15 years old.

The Court reported that Ukpo has admitted that he is 21 years old and had been in the UK since February while he presented himself to the police in May.

It directed that Senator Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice, be remanded in police custody until August 4, 2022.
