Imo state governor hope Uzodinma has congratulated Batch B STREAM 1 corp members of the national youth service corps on their Passing out parade.
Uzodinma, who was represented by the commissioner for youth and sports, Dan Ogu, encouraged those that participated in the NYSC skill acquisition program to start a business of their own.
Also speaking, NYSC state coordinator, Rachael Idaewo,adviced corps members to put into good use of all that they have learnt during their service year.
Imo state government has commenced teacher’s verification exercise in the state. Speaking at the hero’s square in Owerri the state capital, Governor Hope Uzodinma stated that the verification exercise is to enable a proper disbursement of salaries and promotions, and also for the indication of ghost workers. Uzodinma urged the teachers posted to rural areas to remain at their place of assignment unless with genuine reasons.
