President Muhammadu Buhari departs Abuja for Senegal to participate in the International Development Association, IDA for Africa Summit.
According to a statement issued by the Presidential spokesperson on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, Buhari is expected to join other African leaders in an open Dialogue to chart the way forward for the transformation of the economies of these nations in partnership with the World Bank/IDA.
The statement noted that the President is expected back in the Country on Thursday, July 7, 2022.
President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn-in the seven new Ministers that were screened and confirmed by the Senate. Buhari administered the oath of office to the appointed Ministers shortly before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council Meeting on Wednesday at the Council Chamber in Abuja. The President urged the new Ministerial Appointees to consider their emergence as a call to duty that demands diligent service to the nation.
