Atiku Calls for Unity Among Party Members

The Presidential Flagbearer of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has said actions are being taken to reconcile aggrieved Party members ahead of the 2023 election.

Atiku, who made this known on his Twitter page, called for unity among members of the Party.

Recall that crisis had engulfed the Party after its Presidential Primary.

Landslide In India Claim Lives

At least seven people have died and 55 feared killed after a massive landslide hit a remote area of Northeastern India’s Manipur State. This was disclosed in a statement issued by Manipur Chief Minister, Nongthombam Singh. The statement noted that rescue workers were able to pull out 19 survivors from the rubble after the landslide. It added that an emergency meeting has been called to assess the situation.
