The House of Representatives has called on the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission to appear before it over the poor quality of toilet disinfectants used in Nigeria.
The motion was raised by a member representing Esan North East/Esan South East Constituency, Sergius Ogun at plenary on Tuesday.
The House mandated the Committees on Commerce and Legislative Compliance to ensure compliance and report back to the House for further legislative action.
The European Union, EU, has charged Nigerians to get their Permanent Voter Cards. In a statement issued by its Press Officer, Modestus Chukwulaka, EU pledged to support the mobilization of voters to fully participate in the forthcoming general elections. The statement encouraged voters, particular the youth and women, to sustain their participation beyond the elections by holding Candidates accountable for their campaign promises.
