House of Representatives to Investigate Quality of Disinfectants

The House of Representatives has called on the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission to appear before it over the poor quality of toilet disinfectants used in Nigeria.

The motion was raised by a member representing Esan North East/Esan South East Constituency, Sergius Ogun at plenary on Tuesday.

The House mandated the Committees on Commerce and Legislative Compliance to ensure compliance and report back to the House for further legislative action.
