Tinubu Emerges APC Presidential Flag Bearer

Former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu has emerged winner of the Presidential Primary elections of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Tinubu who defeated his closest rivals, Ex-Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo was declared winner during the primary election in Abuja.

Sri Lanka President vows to finish term

Sri Lanka’s President, Gotabaya Rajapaksa has vowed to finish the remaining two years in his term despite protests calling for his removal from office. Rajapaksa, who stated that he was given a mandate for five years, noted that he will not stand for re-election.
