Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has called on the Federal Government to put an end to the industrial action embarked by members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, and other University-Based Unions.
NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, made the call during an event in Switzerland.
According to Wabba, NLC has written to the Federal government on how to end the University workers’ strike.
Former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu has emerged winner of the Presidential Primary elections of the All Progressives Congress, APC. Tinubu who defeated his closest rivals, Ex-Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo was declared winner during the primary election in Abuja.
