Mikel’s talent hunt programme set to begin in Lagos

Former Super Eagles captain, Mikel Obi, has said the Back2Base talent hunt, which will hold from June 9 to 11th at the University of Lagos Sports Centre, Yaba will not be for footballers alone.

Mikel, who made this known during the unveiling of the three-day event at a press conference in Lagos State, added that emerging basketball players and tennis stars would get opportunities to showcase their talents as well.

Banky W wins PDP Reps Primary rerun in Lagos

Nigerian Singer, Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has been declared winner of the People’s Democratic Party Primary rerun for the Eti-Osa Constituency House of Representatives ticket in the 2023 general election. Banky polled 24 votes out of 29 votes cast by delegates at the Primary rerun held on Monday in Lagos.
