Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union, COEASU, have issued a 21 day ultimatum to the Federal Government.

COEASU gave the ultimatum in a statement signed by the union’s National Vice-President, Olusegun Lana.

The statement stressed that the Federal government has not been fair to colleges of education and had neglected issues affecting the union despite many requests.

It urged stakeholders to prevail on the government to do the needful now before the expiration of the ultimatum.

Ekiti Governor Appoints Permanent Secretaries

Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has announced the appointment of 14 new permanent secretaries, two general managers, and six executive secretaries. A statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, revealed that the appointments came after the officials scaled examinations in ICT, Civil Service Procedures, and General Knowledge.
