Federal Government Orders Resumption of Abuja-Kaduna Train Service

The Federal Government has ordered the resumption of the Abuja-Kaduna train service.

A statement signed by the Spokesperson of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Yakubu Mahmood, announced that the Train service will resume on May 23, 2022.

According to the statement, the decision to resume services does not mean that efforts to secure the safe release of those abducted will be halted.

Recalled that Train services had been suspended on the route after a terrorist attack, that led to the abduction of passengers in March.
