Ngige withdraws from Presidential Race

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige has withdrawn from the 2023 Presidential race.

Ngige announced his withdrawal from the contest in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja.

The Minister’s announcement came after President Muhammadu Buhari held a valedictory session for members of his cabinet contesting for elective positions in the 2023 general elections.

President Muhammadu Buhari is set to replace the 10 members of his cabinet who have resigned to contest various elective positions in 2023 general elections Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, announced this after Buhari had a valedictory meeting with the outgoing Ministers at the Presidential Villa, on Friday in Abuja. According to Mohammed, the President indicated that he would immediately fill the vacancy created by the exited Ministers.
