President Muhammadu Buhari is set to replace the 10 members of his cabinet who have resigned to contest various elective positions in 2023 general elections
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, announced this after Buhari had a valedictory meeting with the outgoing Ministers at the Presidential Villa, on Friday in Abuja.
According to Mohammed, the President indicated that he would immediately fill the vacancy created by the exited Ministers.
Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has dismissed report to impose candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the State for the 2023 general elections. A statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, noted that Akeredolu is committed to the principle of Party supremacy. The statement urged aspirants to focus on their campaigns and not to get distracted by discontented members.
