Immigration Service denies recruitment report

Nigeria’s Immigration Service has denied reports that it is recruiting into the Service.

A statement issued by the acting Comptroller General of Immigration, Isah Idris disclosed that the recruitment circulating on social media is fake and misleading.

The statement advised the general public to disregard such publications as it was not undertaking recruitment exercise.

Ngige withdraws from Presidential Race

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige has withdrawn from the 2023 Presidential race. Ngige announced his withdrawal from the contest in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja. The Minister’s announcement came after President Muhammadu Buhari held a valedictory session for members of his cabinet contesting for elective positions in the 2023 general elections.
