Airline operators cancel nationwide shutdown

Airline Operators of Nigeria, AON, says it has suspended the earlier decision to shut down flights operations.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the President of AON, Abdulmunaf Sarina, on Sunday.

According to the statement, the development followed a deliberation with the Federal Government on how to tackle the fuel issue.

Recall that the AON had vowed to shut down operations on Monday following the high cost of aviation fuel.
