The National Crime Agency, NCA in the United Kingdom has recovered $23.4million siphoned by associates and family of former Head of State, Sani Abacha.
A communiqué issued by the Agency, disclosed that the funds formed part of monies identified by the United States Department of Justice, USDOJ, misappropriated by late Abacha and his allies.
According to the communiqué, the funds have been transferred to the Home Office for onward transmission to the USDOJ.
Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele, has purchased nomination form to contest the 2023 presidential election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC. Emefiele, who picked the form at the International Conference Center, Abuja will declare his intention on Saturday. Recall that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo picked his form to contest the 2023 presidential election.
