Emefiele declares for president

Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele, has purchased nomination form to contest the 2023 presidential election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Emefiele, who picked the form at the International Conference Center, Abuja will declare his intention on Saturday.

Recall that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo picked his form to contest the 2023 presidential election.

Supreme Court resolves ownership dispute of oil wells

The Supreme Court has resolved the ownership dispute in 17 oil wells ownership in favor of the Rivers State government. In a judgment delivered by Emmanuel Agim, the court held that the oil wells within Akri and Mbede communities are within the territories of Rivers State. The Apex Court, therefore, dismissed the counter claim ownership put forward by the Imo State government.
