The Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union, COEASU, has called on the federal government to accept the University Transparency and Accountability Solution platform as a payment solution in all tertiary institutions in the country.

The union president, Smart Olugbeko disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday and made available to newsmen.

According to the Statement, the intractable challenge created by the IPPIS has been a great source of worry and constituted one of the major issues causing industrial crisis in the College of Education (COE) system and others.

It further commended ASUU for living up to its pedigree as a Union of intellectuals and coming up with UTAS as an alternative to the controversial Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) platform
