Enugu state Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has given executive backing for the domestication of the Nigerian Disability Act by the State House of Assembly.
Ugwuanyi gave the approval when representatives of Voice of Disability Initiative, VDI, visited him at the Government House Enugu.
He promised full support for the domestication of the Nigerian Disability Act by the state parliament.
The governor added that he is willing to go the State House of Assembly to push for the bill to be passed into law, as a demonstration of his commitment to the wellbeing of Persons with Disabilities.
Anambra state Governor, Chukwuma Soludo has assured that peace and stability will surely return to the state. Soludo gave the assurance when he visited the headquarters of Aguata local government area in Ekwulobia set ablaze by miscreants.
