US AID, NACA join forces with to fight HIV/AIDS in Taraba

The United States Government, in collaboration with the National Agency for the Control of AIDS, NACA, says it will partner with the Taraba State government to tackle the menace of HIV/AIDS and other epidemics in the state.
Leader of the delegation and the United States Charge De Affair to Nigeria, Catylyn Gibon, noted that the state is a good place where the US can work collaboratively to contain HIV/AIDS.
Gibon stated that they hope to identify the barriers for people coming in for treatment, adding that the state is critical in the battle against HIV and AIDS.
Also speaking, the state Director General of NACA, Gambo Aliyu, noted that it is important for sustainable efforts to be put in place to ensure that the stigmatization is also gotten rid of and those in need of care are able to freely come forward to access it.
