Salah and Kerr Wins PFA Player of the Year Awards

Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and Chelsea's Sam Kerr have won the Men's and Women's PFA players' player of the year Awards. Salah and Kerr won the Golden Boot in 2021-22 as top scorers in the Premier League and Women's Super League respectively. He becomes the sixth Male Player to win two PFA player of the year awards, after Mark Hughes, Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, Gareth Bale and Kevin de Bruyne.

Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette has re-signed for Lyon on a free transfer. Lacazette returned to the French club on a three-year deal until June 2025. He scored 54 times in 158 Premier League appearances for Arsenal and helped the Gunners win the 2020 FA Cup final.

Raducanu to Retire from Nottingham Open

Emma Raducanu was forced to retire from her Nottingham Open opener against Viktorija Golubic. Raducanu took a medical timeout early in the first set because of a problem to her left side. She conceded the match shortly after Golubic moved 4-3 up with a break of serve. It is the US Open champion's third mid-match retirement since her 2021 win.
