Cameron Norrie reached Indian Wells quarter-finals with straight-sets win over Andrey Rublev. Norrie converted all five break points to claim a 6-2, 6-4 victory in California. He will face either Frances Tiafoe or Alejandro Tabilo in the last eight.

Emma Raducanu beat Beatriz Maia 6-1 2-6 6-4 in the third round at Indian Wells. Raducanu, broke the Brazilian world number 13 twice in the first set, but dropped her serve twice in the second. She will play world number one Iga Swiatek in the last 16.

Jack Draper beat Andy Murray in their first competitive meeting to reach the fourth round of the Indian Wells Masters. The Draper will now play US Open champion Carlos Alcaraz. He was on Centre Court as an 11-year-old when Murray won Wimbledon for the first time in 2013 and has formed a strong bond with the Scot.

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is set for another lay-off after suffering a thigh injury. Pogba will be out for about three weeks and will miss the start of France's Euro 2024 qualifying campaign. The midfielder, who was dropped for Juve's Europa League win over Freiburg last week, missed Sunday's 4-2 win over Sampdoria.

Former Head Coach of Super Falcons, Nigeria’s women’s senior national team, Ismaila Mabo, has died at the age of 79. According to his family, the former national player died after a protracted illness at his residence in Jos, Plateau State. The late Mabo was head coach of the Super Falcons at the 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and was also in charge at the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics.

Widow of the late football legend Pele will inherit 30 per cent of his assets. According to his Will, Pele’s third and last wife will inherit his mansion in Guaruja, and a seaside resort town south of Sao Paulo. The remaining 70 per cent is reserved for Pele’s children, including an unrecognized daughter that he may have.

UEFA has revealed that it will refund all Liverpool fans’ tickets from the 2022 Champions League final. This comes after a review found that a catalogue of organizational failures almost led to a disaster outside the Stade de France. The refund scheme covers all of the Liverpool allocation 19,618 tickets with supporters receiving the full cost of their ticket back from the European football’s governing body.
