Cameron Norrie beats Jaume Munar in five sets to reach the Wimbledon third round. Norrie fell two sets to one down but came through 6-4 3-6 5-7 6-0 6-2 on Court One. Munar appeared to be affected by cramp as he struggled physically in the final two sets. Norrie will next play Steve Johnson, who knocked out Ryan Peniston 6-3 6-2 6-4.

British two-time Champion, Andy Murray lost in four sets against American John Isner in the second round of Wimbledon. Murray clinched the third set but fell 6-4 7-6 (7-4) 6-7 (3-7) 6-4 to the big-hitting 20th seed. He will play Italian 10th seed Jannik Sinner next. Murray had never before failed to reach the third round at SW19, in 13 previous attempts.

Nigerian forward, Odion Ighalo has expressed delight after winning his first career league title. Ighalo took to his social media handle to celebrate the victory. The former Manchester United Star bagged a brace as Al Hilal defeated relegated Al-Faisaly 2-1 to win the Saudi Arabia Professional League title.

Newcastle has agreed to a deal to sign Dutch defender, Sven Botman from French side Lille. Botman completed his medical in Newcastle on Tuesday. He is set to arrive on a five-year contract in a reported $42 million transfer.

Manchester United Teenager, Zidane Iqbal, has signed a new and improved deal at the Club. Iqbal signed a deal until June 2025, with the option of a further year. He made his debut for Manchester United in December 2021 Champions League match against Young Boys.

Gabriel Jesus has completed his Arsenal medical on Tuesday. According to reports, Jesus has now signed a five-year deal with the Gunners that will see him remain at Arsenal until 2027.

Nigerian Sprinter, Blessing Okagbare has been handed an extra one-year ban for additional doping violations. The Athletics Integrity Unit charged her with evading sample collection and tampering or attempted tampering with the doping control process. In February, Okagbare was handed her original ban for multiple breaches of anti-doping rules. Spanish Club, Villarreal, has joined the list of clubs interested in Nigerian forward, Umar Sadiq. Sadiq is in hot demand across Europe after spearheading Almeria’s return to the Spanish topflight last season. The 25-year-old has scored 38 goals in 76 appearances for the Rojiblancos since he arrived at the club in 2020. Benfica, Ajax Amsterdam, and Spanish clubs, Sevilla and Valencia have also been linked with the striker.

Watford has cancelled a friendly against Qatar national side over concerns about human rights. Rob Edwards' side was due to face the World Cup hosts on the final day of a pre-season camp in Austria on 10 July. The Country has been criticized over its treatment of migrant workers building stadiums for the World Cup, to be held in the country later this year.
