President Muhammadu Buhari departs Abuja for Spain on a State visit. A statement issued on Monday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, disclosed that Buhari will discuss issues of mutual interest to both Countries. The statement revealed that the President’s visit will result into signing of agreements with the Spanish government on issues geared toward enhancing bilateral relations between both Countries.

Ahead of the state’s governorship election in Ekiti state, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, ran a mock exercise with the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS. INEC’s Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu revealed that the exercise had been a success. Yakubu noted that the Commission was also interested in the readiness of facilities for the election.
The Federal High Court in Abuja imposed strict bail conditions on former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha.
