The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has created a portal for the deposit of old naira notes. According to the CBN, Nigerians can redeem their old N1,000, N500, notes by completing an online form. The apex bank provided a link to the portal to enable the masses deposit old notes in their possession.

150 Nigerians Repatriate from Niger Republic.

The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, has received a batch of 150 Nigerians repatriated from Niamey, Niger Republic. Director-General of the agency, Mustapha Ahmed, said the returnees consist 98 male adults, 11 male children and two male infants.
