Shakur to Receive a Star Award on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Tupac Shakur is to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, 26 years after the rapper's death. The hip-hop star will be honoured with a ceremony on the prestigious Los Angeles walkway on 7 June. Court Denies Lanez’s Motion for a New Trial

A Los Angeles judge has denied Tory Lanez’s motion for a new trial after he was found guilty of shooting Megan in the foot. Lanez begged Judge David Herriford not to ruin his life by denying the motion. The rapper was originally scheduled to be sentenced on 28 February, however, it was pushed back so that his attorneys could file for a new trial.

Ed Sheeran has said he would quit music if he is found guilty of ripping off Marvin Gaye's soul classic 'Let's Get it On'. Sheeran denied the claims he infringed upon Gaye and his co-writer Ed Townsend's 1973 hit when he wrote and composed 'Thinking Out Loud'. The singer-songwriter is being sued by Townsend's heirs, who claim there are striking similarities between the tracks.
