Kogi State Polytechnic has received full accreditation for all academic programmes. This was disclosed on Wednesday by the Rector of the Polytechnic, Usman Ogbo. According to Ogbo, the Institution was able to achieve the feat owing to the support and enabling environment created by the State government.
Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu, has approved the payment of N3 billion as gratuity and death benefits for Workers. The approval was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the acting Head of the State Civil Service, Safiyanu Garba-Bena. Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has reinstated his former Chief of Staff, Mukhtar Magori. According to a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Muhammad Bello, Tambuwal also nominated nine Commissioners to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation. Recall that the Chief of Staff and other members of the cabinet had on April 27 resigned their positions to seek Political offices in the State.
