Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has approved the appointment of seven new Permanent Secretaries in the State. State Head of Service, Hannah Odiyo, disclosed this in a statement issued on Monday. According to the statement, the appointed Permanent Secretaries will fill some of the vacancies that existed in the State Civil Service. The newly appointees include, Jibrin Sanda, Ali Eriawata, Ujah Ilemona, among others.
Oyo State Government has sanctioned some Head Teachers for collecting illegal fees. State Chairman of Universal Basic Education Board, Nureni Adeniran, who gave the sanction on Monday, disclosed that the Teachers were found culpable in the illegal collection. The statement added that the Teachers denied pupil’s access to Examination Halls in the ongoing Public Primary Schools Unified Examinations.
