Niger Government Investigates Deaths in Private Hospitals

Niger State Government has constituted a Committee to investigate the cause and increase in death cases in Private Health facilities in the State. Chairman of the Committee, Haruna Aliyu, noted that the measure was adopted to avert more deaths in such facilities. According to Aliyu, the Committee would submit its reports and recommendations to the State government for action and implementation.

NPHCDA Reveals Number of Vaccinated Nigerians

The National Primary Health Care Development Agency revealed that it has fully vaccinated a total of 21,236,404 of its eligible population with COVID-19 vaccine. NCDC Confirms 36 Cases of Monkey Pox

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has said 36 cases of monkey pox have been confirmed in the country. NCDC disclosed this in its latest monkey pox situation report. According to the NCDC, the disease has been confirmed in 15 State. The Agency noted that from January 1 to June 12, there has been 141 suspected cases so far.
