Disgraced former pop star, Paul Gadd, popularly known as Gary Glitter, has been freed from prison after serving half his 16-year jail term. Glitter was sentenced in 2015 for attempted rape, four counts of indecent assault and one of having sex with a girl under 13. A spokesperson of the Justice Ministry assured that Gadd will be closely monitored by police.
American Actor, Alec Baldwin, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of a cinematographer on movie set. Santa Fe District Attorney, Mary Carmack-Altwies, filed the charging documents naming Baldwin and Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who supervised weapons on the set. Prosecutors have said Baldwin’s involvement as a producer and the person who fired the gun weighed in the decision to file charges.
The nephew of Michael Jackson, Jaafar Jackson, will portray the King of Pop in upcoming biopic ‘Michael’. Movie director, Antoine Fuqua, shared a picture of Jackson’s transformation to Michael Jackson on Instagram. Jaafar was selected for the role after a worldwide casting search was conducted. The actor also posted the same picture and expressed his excitement regarding the project.
