Chrisley Arrested for Assault in Tennessee

A former reality TV star, Kyle Chrisley, has been arrested for assault in Tennessee. A spokesperson for Rutherford County Jail revealed that Chrisley, was booked for the felony charge on Tuesday. Police officers say the former reality TV star brandished a fixed blade during an altercation with his supervisor at Penske Truck Rental.

CEAN Realizes ₦278 million in Ticket Sales

The Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria, CEAN, has realized ₦278 million in ticket sales across cinemas in the month of February, nationwide. National Chairman of the Association, Ope Ajayi, revealed that the cinemas also had 122,295 gross admissions within the period under review. According to Ajayi, Cinemas experienced a drastic decline in sales in February when compared with ₦819 million made in January.

Stampede at GloRilla Concert Claim Lives

At least two people died and eight were injured in a stampede after a concert by rapper GloRilla in Rochester, New York. Authorities say the crush may have been triggered when audience members mistakenly thought they heard gunshots. Rochester police lieutenant, Nicholas Adams, noted that there was no evidence to support a shooting having occurred.

Rossington Dies at 71

The last remaining original member of US rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gary Rossington, has died at the age of 71. Rossington appeared on all of their albums and co-wrote the 1974 hit ‘Sweet Home Alabama’. He was also one of the survivors of a 1977 plane crash that killed several of his bandmates.
