Adidas has cut ties with rapper Kanye West saying it does tolerate any form of hate speech. According to the clothing giant, his products will be pulled from sale with immediate effect. Adidas's collaboration with West was put under review, after he showed a White Lives Matter T-shirt design at Paris Fashion Week.
US actor and comedian Leslie Jordan has died at the age 67. Jordan, known for his roles in ‘Will and Grace’ and ‘American Horror Story’, was killed in a car crash in Los Angeles on Monday morning. Police revealed that the actor’s car crashed into the side of a building and he was declared dead at the scene.
A New York court has dismissed a sexual assault lawsuit against the actor Kevin Spacey. The case was brought by Anthony Rapp, who says the actor inappropriately touched him at a party in 1986 when he was aged 14. Spacey has denied the accusations against him. He is separately facing five charges in the UK of sexual assault, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
Bulgaria has withdrawn from next year's Eurovision Song Contest. They become the latest country to pull out from the contest. The EBU which organizes the contest has now confirmed the list of 37 participants for the 2023 competition. Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Montenegro all failed to make it past the semi-final stage of this year's song contest.
Nigerian Afro beats Singer; Mr. Eazi is set to drop the remix of his Amapiano song 'Patek'. Eazi, who announced this on Twitter, revealed that the remix will feature multi-talented artist Falz and is due for release on Friday, 21st October 2022. ‘Patek' has performed well since it was released and the remix is set to further amplify the song.
Actress Anna Wong is set to become the first Asian American to be featured on US currency. Wong, who is the first Chinese American film star, is the fifth and final woman to be individually featured on the coin this year. She will appear as part of an effort to feature notable women on American quarters. The quarter will enter general circulation on Monday.

Starr made the revelation via her social media platforms that she will be releasing the highly anticipated deluxe version of her album on Friday, 21st October 2022. The deluxe will have 5 new singles which will take the album to 16 songs.
Sri Lankan author Shehan Karunatilaka has been named the winner of the prestigious Booker Prize for fiction for his second book ‘The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida’. Karunatilaka received a trophy from Queen Consort Camilla at a ceremony on Monday night in London. It was the English language literary award’s first in-person ceremony since 2019, and the author also gets a 50,000 pounds prize.
