French side Marseille has signed Manchester United center-back Eric Bailly on loan. The deal will see Marseille cover his wages, and it includes a 6m euros obligation to buy, subject to appearances. Bailly joined United for £30m from Villarreal in 2016 but struggled to hold down a first-team place.
Nigeria’s Debt Management Office, DMO, has revealed that a strong and comparable revenue base will reduce the need for relatively large amounts of new borrowing. Director-General of the DMO, Patience Oniha, made this know in an interview with newsmen on Wednesday. Oniha noted that Nigeria needs to earn higher revenue and manage its debt profile more efficiently to further reduce borrowings.
Operatives of the Intelligence Response Team of the Nigeria Police Force, have arrested a Kuje prison escapee and 20 other suspected criminals. One of the arrested suspects, Abdulrazak Isah, is an escapee from the Kuje Correctional Facility. The National Primary Health Care Development Agency has advised Nigerians to protect themselves against COVID-19. Kwara State Coordinator of the Agency, Hanifa Hamza, gave the advice at a stakeholders’ training in Ilorin, the state capital. She urged citizens to go for testing, noting that the virus was real and still spreading. The Coordinator assured that sufficient vaccines were available across the country.
