The National Chairman of the Action Democratic Party, ADP, Yabaji Sani has emerged as the Presidential Flag bearer of the Party. Sani was declared as the ADP Presidential Candidate during the Party’s National Convention on Tuesday in Abuja. He appreciated the Party for giving him the Presidential ticket for the 2023 general elections.
President Muhammadu Buhari departs Abuja for Spain on a State visit. A statement issued on Monday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, disclosed that Buhari will discuss issues of mutual interest to both Countries. The statement revealed that the President’s visit will result into signing of agreements with the Spanish government on issues geared toward enhancing bilateral relations between both Countries.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has said that former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, is still under the custody of the Agency. The Agency’s Public Relations Officer, Wilson Uwujaren, made this known during an interview with newsmen on Tuesday in Abuja. Ahead of the state’s governorship election in Ekiti state, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, ran a mock exercise with the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS. INEC’s Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu revealed that the exercise had been a success. Yakubu noted that the Commission was also interested in the readiness of facilities for the election.
