Federal government gives reasons over power shortage

The Federal Ministry of Power has explained the reason behind the low electricity supply currently being witnessed across the Country. According to a statement issued by the Special Adviser, Media to the Minister, Isa Sanusi, the low supply was due to the partial shutdown of the Oben Power Plant. The statement added that other power plants on gas sources are undergoing planned maintenance and capacity testing.
