NDLEA to Partner South Africa in Tackling Drug Trafficking

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, and South Africa’s Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation, have agreed to work together to tackle drug trafficking between the two countries.

NDLEA Chairman, Mohammed Marwa disclosed during a virtual meeting between him and the National Head of South Africa’s Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation, S. Lebeya.

Marwa called for an operational Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will allow both agencies share intelligence, engage in joint operations, and personnel exchange programmes.

The Chairman stressed that the essence of the collaboration was to stop criminal trade in the countries.
