Music maestro, Quincy Jones, dies at 91

Legendary American producer Quincy Jones has died at the age of 91.

According to his publicist, Jones passed away peacefully at his home in Bel Air, Los Angeles, surrounded by family.

Renowned for his collaborations with icons such as Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra, Jones had a career spanning over seven decades, during which he produced Thriller, one of the best-selling albums of all time, and organized the charity single “We Are the World” in 1985.

Jones was the first African American nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song and earned 28 Grammy Awards during his career. His influence on music and philanthropy will be long remembered.
