The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Walson-Jack, announced on Monday that the Federal Government’s investigation into civil servants receiving salaries while residing abroad is still underway.

Walson-Jack made the statement at an event in Abuja marking her 100 days in office and a review of her tenure in the civil service.

This development follows President Bola Tinubu’s directive five months ago, ordering civil servants who continue to receive government salaries after relocating abroad to refund the funds.
