Oyo Assembly Pass Bill on Persons Living with Disability

Oyo State House of Assembly has passed the State Persons Living with Disability Amendment Bill, 2022 into Law.

The passage of the bill was sequel to the presentation of the report presented by the Chairman of House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Wumi Oladeji.

Oladeji, said the law has made provision for the establishment of an agency for the persons living with disabilities.
She added that the agency will be under the supervision of the state governor.
