The Military Pension Board has denied fixing verification date for military pensioners.
Public Relations Officer of the Board, Abdullahi Gambo, revealed this in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday.
The statement debunked the report informing military retirees and the public of the commencement of a verification exercise for military retirees.
It advised all military pensioners to disregard the information.
Far-right leader Giorgia Meloni has claimed victory in Italy's election. Meloni is widely expected to form Italy's most right-wing government since World War Two. She is set to win around 26% of the vote, ahead of her closest rival Enrico Letta from the center left.
