Far-right leader Giorgia Meloni has claimed victory in Italy’s election.

Meloni is widely expected to form Italy’s most right-wing government since World War Two.

She is set to win around 26% of the vote, ahead of her closest rival Enrico Letta from the center left.

Soludo Assures Speedy Evacuation of Residents in Flood Prone Areas

Anambra state governor, Chukwuma Soludo has assured residents facing serious flood threats of urgent help. Soludo who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Ernest Ezeajughi, gave the assurance when he went on a physical tour of flood devastated areas. The Governor promised that the state government would liaise with the Federal Government to ensure quick evacuation of people and their property.
