House of Representatives to Hold Talks with ASUU Over Strike

The House of Representatives would meet with the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, and other Stakeholders to find a lasting solution to the lingering strike.

A statement issued by the Clerk of the House, Yahaya Danzaria, revealed that the meeting would take place on Tuesday at the National Assembly, the House of Representatives Wing.

The statement noted that the House is deeply concerned about the renewed strike which seems to have defied all efforts made to find a solution.

He added that the House was more worried about the negative consequences of the strike on the future and quality of education of the Teeming Youths.
