The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has revealed that extending the Continuous Voters Registration, CVR, would frustrate other scheduled activities towards the conduct of the 2023 general elections.
INEC National Commissioner for Information and Voters Education, Festus Okoye, disclosed this to newsmen in Abuja.
Recall that there has been agitation for an extension of the deadline for the CVR after it ended on Sunday.
The Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation has announced that Promotion Examinations for Junior Officers in the Civil Service will commence on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. This was disclosed in a circular signed by the Permanent Secretary, Career Management Office, and made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Abuja.
