The Chief Whip of the Senate, Orji Kalu has debunked reports that he has been appointed as the Director-General of Ahmad Lawan’s Campaign Organization.
A statement signed by Orji noted that the list of the campaign team currently making the rounds was not authorized.
The statement urged the public to disregard the reports, stressing that if Lawan clinches the All Progressives Congress Presidential ticket a committee would be inaugurated to compile the team.
Recall that reports emerged that the Chief Whip was appointed to head the Senate President’s campaign organization.
