INEC Declares Mbah Winner of Enugu Governorship Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Enugu State, Peter Mbah as the winner of the March 18 governorship election.

Returning Officer of INEC in the state, Maduebibisi Ofo-Iwe, declared Mbah after he polled a total of 160,895 votes.

The governor elect beat his closest rival Chijioke Edeoga of the Labour Party who scored 157,552 amongst others.
