Court Grants Reps Majority Leader Bail

A Federal High Court has granted bail to House of Representatives Majority Leader, Alhassan Doguwa, who is accused of the alleged killing of some persons on election day.

The presiding Judge, Muhammad Yunusa , granted Doguwa bail on Monday.

He was detained by the police last week and subsequently arraigned before Chief Magistrate Ibrahim Mansur on six count charges including culpable homicide, causing grievous hurt, mischief by firearm and inciting disturbances.
