NPC Reveals Amount Required for 2023 Census

The National Population Commission, NPC, has said the 2023 census will cost more than N400 billion.

Head, NPC Public Affairs Department in Plateau State, Jick Lawrence, revealed this during a one-day capacity-building workshop.

Lawrence noted that some of the funds would be channeled to the empowerment of about 1.5 million Nigerians.

He added that 56,000 vehicles would be rented to ease the movement of personnel and logistics while 800,000 Personal Digital Assistants would be procured.
